We are looking for a Electrical Engineering Lead to join our team based in Karshi, Uzbekistan. You will report to Technical Manager and will provide leadership, technical support, and governance in the field of electrical engineering.

You will:

• Work on a wide range of electrical equipment including electrical protection relays, low voltage and high voltage distribution systems, large induction and synchronous motors and generators.
• Electrical Engineering design with legal compliance for delivery, installation, commissioning, and safe operation of Electrical Systems & Equipment
• Project management service for electrical equipment Installations
• Technical assistance to the Maintenance department
• Technical and operational support for plant operations
• Document and prioritize reliability issues and end of life vulnerabilities.
• Provide electrical training and mentoring of electrical technicians and engineers.
• Participate in Global Electrical Community to contribute to policies and technical standards.
• Provide operational technical feedback to global electrical engineering and design group.
• Ensure compliance with Air Products and local electrical safety regulations and legislations.
• Assist in development of local electrical safety operation procedures.
• Incident reporting and investigation in support of plant management
• Ensure implementation of the ATEX directives and compliance to the hazardous area requirements

You will have:

• Electrical Engineering degree.
• A minimum 10 years of total relevant professional experience in industrial operation engineering position.
• 5 years proven experience in a supervisory role.
• Proven knowledge and experience with condition-based monitoring equipment and predictive maintenance techniques on HV motor, HV transformers, HV /LV switchgear, and electrical drives
• Experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and reporting findings and recommendations
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Languages –English proficiency, Russian or Uzbek will be benefit.
